About

Schedule and cost, mostly. Coordination, always.

I'm a PMP-certified project professional with over five years of experience in construction and infrastructure delivery, primarily focused on scheduling and budgeting.

My work spans residential projects, commercial fit-outs, and a donor-funded programme across multiple districts, where I managed schedule and cost while clients, consultants, and contractors each pulled in their own direction.

I rely on MS Project and Excel daily. I'm currently pursuing an MSc in Construction Management at KNUST, which has sharpened my understanding of planning and cost control alongside the practical knowledge from site.

Professional experience

Feb 2024 — Present
Architect & Project Lead
Luthcon Ltd., Accra
  • Ran projects from planning through handover, usually the one keeping the client, consultants, and contractors talking to each other when things got complicated.
  • Built and kept updating project schedules across design, procurement, and construction, adjusting sequencing early when something started slipping.
  • Reviewed contractor valuations and expenditure against the approved cost plan and reported variances to leadership.
  • Handled the daily back and forth between what the drawings said and what was actually happening on site.
  • Ran regular site inspections, partly for quality and partly to confirm schedule and cost reporting reflected reality.
  • Pulled together project documentation, progress, and cost reports so clients had one clear picture instead of scattered updates.
  • Reviewed completed work against specification before sign-off, cutting down on defects surfacing later.
Nov 2023 — Jan 2024
Architect
Furler Architects Ltd., Accra
  • Supported planning, technical documentation, and tender preparation, including early cost estimates feeding into budget decisions before a contractor was appointed.
  • Tracked which drawings and documents were due at each stage and chased the design team when something fell behind schedule.
  • Worked alongside other disciplines to keep design progress feeding properly into the wider project programme.
Aug 2021 — Nov 2023
Project Coordinator / Monitoring & Evaluation Lead
JICA COMPASS Project
  • Coordinated activities and schedules across several districts on a donor-funded programme, keeping locations moving at a pace that didn't throw off the overall timeline.
  • Managed schedules, logistics, budgets, and stakeholder communication, adjusting as conditions changed district to district.
  • Led monitoring and evaluation work, including data validation and checking expenditure against budgets.
  • Put together cost and progress reports bringing schedule status, budget position, and M&E findings together for programme leadership.
  • Worked with partner organisations to spot where coordination between districts was breaking down and to fix it.
Freelance
Project Coordinator / Architect
Ghana
  • Managed residential and small commercial projects from planning through completion, handling schedule and cost alongside the design work.
  • Coordinated contractors, suppliers, and consultants so trades turned up when needed and delays didn't spill from one job into the next.
  • Tracked schedules and budgets against the original plan and kept documentation on progress, cost, and client agreements.
  • Visited sites to check quality and compliance against specification and cost estimates before signing off on contractor payments.
